For example, Relational Cultural Theory is a framework rooted in multiculturalism and feminism. It emphasizes the importance of interconnectedness between individuals and their community for overall well-being. Also, it explains the negative impact that stigma has on people’s ability to connect with their community. Stigma is a disconnecting mechanism that hinders human development. The artist hopes that "Two Doves & Their Little One" will remind viewers how knowledge and empathy can extinguish stigma, so people can truly live well.
